The Nanny Hub provides both live in and live out nannies, as well as casual nannies and babysitters.
Drawing from my own experience as a former nanny, I recognise the multifaceted nature of the role. Being a valued and sought-after nanny entails more than just experience and qualifications. The Nanny Hub places great importance on character, demeanour, and a genuine passion for this field. In addition to conducting thorough background checks and considering experience, these qualities are paramount to us.
In contrast to traditional agencies, we have developed a unique structure that prioritises the practical and efficient needs of busy families. At The Nanny Hub, we can employ the nanny directly or we can refer you to a payroll service provider who wil guide you on employing the nanny yourself, whilst the provider acts as the employer of record. You also have the option to take the reigns and fulfill all emploment obligations yourself.
Every nanny put forward for a position must present a valid WWCC (or blue card), First Aid and CPR, and have undergone a recent police check. We also check the nanny's past performance working with/for other families, in addition to their social accounts.
Our stringent recruitment process is our priority in every package we offer at The Nanny Hub. We carefully vet each nanny and ensure they comply with all legal requirements, have up-to-date certifications, and share a genuine passion for the job. Rest assured, we've got you covered.
Our process involves:
The recruitment process, from the payment of the Recruitment Fee to the successful placement of your nanny, may span a timeframe of 6 to 8 weeks. While our typical turnaround time hovers around the 3-4 week mark, please note that this duration is not guaranteed.
We wish to clarify that our recruitment process is not listed in our package inclusions for ease of differentiation. Our stringent and consistent process remains the same for all packages. The only variation is in how we shortlist candidates depending on their compatibility with your family's needs.
Typically, the recruitment process takes two to six weeks. Placement timeframes vary on a variety of variables (the current state of the market, the days, hours, location and duties of your role).
We completely understand that sometimes you may have an urgent need for a nanny to start immediately. At The Nanny Hub we've got you covered!
Our agency specialises in swift and efficient nanny placements to address your immediate childcare requirements. However, it's important to note that while we make every effort to meet your urgent needs, we typically require a lead time of approximately 2-8 weeks from the date of your initial inquiry.
If you require a nanny to start within 2 weeks, and we are successful in placing a nanny during that timeframe, an additional $99 surcharge will be included in your invoice at the time the Placement Fee is due.
Please note that while we strive to provide the fastest service possible, we cannot guarantee a start date before 8 weeks from your initial inquiry. This timeframe allows us to ensure that we maintain our high standards of safety, qualifications, and compatibility when matching you with a nanny.
In order to attract a higher pool of nanny candidates, we recommend offering a minimum of 4 hr shifts (typically for before/after school nanny roles).
Example: If you require your nanny to pick the kids up from school and take them to after school activites from 3-6pm, we recommend adding an hour beforehand, where your nanny can prepare dinner (chop veggies), or do some general housekeeping.
In cases like the above, nanny's would like their shift to be worthwhile for them (especially factoring in travel time and expenses). We recommend offering $40/hr for a 4 hr shift.
You may require your nanny to travel here and there, but the nannies duties are performed primarily in your home. We can assist you with your nanny's travel arrangements including their pay packet.
This can be done! Depending on your term length you can take a certain amount of non-billable leave from the term without affecting your term end date.

Premier Package - Our policy is No Nanny = No Cost
If the nanny is sick, you won't be charged for her absence.
Additionally, we can try to find a replacement nanny for the duration of her absence. If we are successful in finding a nanny to cover, we aim to secure the same rate you would pay for your usual nanny. We will never charge you a cover nanny fee.
