To allow for a successful placement, we require a 6-week notice.
Travel Nannies are available for international journeys departing from and returning to Australia or domestic travel within Australia.
The calculation of weeks is determined as follows: if the period of travel, from departure and return (arrival), spans 4 weeks and 1 day, it will be categorised as a 5-week duration.
A 50% deposit due at the time of booking. We will invoice you the deposit amount.
The balance (placement fee) is due at the time of signing and submitting the family/nanny contract, and no later than 48hrs before departure.
Overdue payments may incur a fee of $200, or The Nanny Hub’s right to terminate the travel arrangements made with the nanny.
Agency fees are ONLY refundable in either one of these two instances: 1. The Nanny Hub is not responsible for non-presence of nanny, but as a gesture of goodwill, in the event that this occurs, we offer a 50% refund on all fees paid to date. 2. The Nanny Hub is unable to provide our services to you - in this event, we offer a 100% refund on all fees paid to date.
Complete Booking Form:
Fill out the Booking Form provided on our website. Upload your travel itinerary within the form and proceed to pay the required deposit. Deposit Refund Policy: If, for any reason, we are unable to provide our travel nanny services to you, rest assured. We commit to notifying you within 48 hours of deposit payment, guaranteeing a full 100% refund of the deposit.
Recruitment
Our meticulous process includes a stringent vetting system, ensuring candidates not only meet but surpass minimum standards. This involves holding a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC), certification in First Aid and CPR, a Police Check, and verified professional references.
Furthermore, our recruitment process extends to verifying the possession of a valid passport. We understand the importance of seamless travel logistics, and thus, we guide our travel nannies on appropriate visa requirements, ensuring a smooth and worry-free journey for your family.
Set up Nanny/Family Interviews:
Depending on the location, interviews may be conducted face-to-face or via video call.
Nanny Contract Formalities:
Send Nanny/Family Contract to Nanny for Signing.
Family Contract Formalities:
Send Nanny/Family Contract to Family for Signing: We will include relevant nanny information necessary for making travel bookings and arrangements.
Family's Finalisation of Documents & Agency Fees:
Family sends back the signed contract along with the booking confirmation of the nanny’s itinerary, including travel insurance details.
The balance (placement fee) is due at the time of the family signing and submitting the family/nanny contract, and no later than 48hrs before departure.
Final Steps:
We forward the travel itinerary and documents to the nanny.
We send the signed contract to both the family and the nanny for their records.
